Your body needs fuel after a workout—especially protein and carbs to help repair muscles and restore energy. A smoothie is the fastest (and tastiest!) way to get that refuel in. Bonus: it’s hydrating and super customizable.
π My Favorite Post-Workout Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana π
½ cup frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, or mixed) ππ₯
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your fave plant-based milk) π₯
1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter π₯
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
A handful of spinach (you won’t taste it, promise!) π₯¬
A few ice cubes
Dash of cinnamon (for that little something extra) ✨
Instructions:
Toss everything into a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into your favorite glass or shaker bottle.
